The German Society for Cytometry (DGfZ) announces the Klaus-Goerttler-Prize 2015 which comes with 1.000 Euro prize money and will be handed over during the 25th Annual Conference of the Society (October 7-9, 2015) in Berlin. Young, dedicated scientists are cordially invited to apply for the award.
Applicants
Junior scientists with an excellent PhD, MD, master, bachelor thesis or equivalent work in the field of
cytometry are highly encouraged. The thesis should be finalized and/or published in an international

Submission & Deadline
Documents (thesis, publication(s), CV, abstract, and reference Ietter if applicable) shall be submitted in digital form until July 31, 2015 to Dr. Hyun-Dong Chang at zytometrie@drfz.de
Reviewing Process
All applications will be reviewed by the council of the DGfZ. The award can be split between up to two applicants. The awardee(s) will be informed 4 weeks before the conference. Independent of the outcome, all applicants can register for the conference as „early registrants“ and will have the opportunity to present their work during the poster session.
Award Ceremony
The awardee will present his/her work during the Klaus-Goerttler session at the DGfZ meeting 2015 in Berlin. He/she will also be invited to co-chair the Klaus-Goerttler session at the 26th Annual Conference of the Society in 2016.
