Open position at the Flow Cytometry Core Facility of the DKFZ, Heidelberg, Germany

The core facility flow cytometry CFFC at the German Cancer Research Center DKFZ is jointly operated with HI-STEM and has immediate

opening for a FACS operator.

This core facility is currently expanded to eleven instruments, four sorters and seven analyzers, and provides different flow cytometry services to over 200 investigators within the DKFZ and HI-STEM.

The Flow Cytometry Core Facility at the DKFZ in Heidelber seeking a highly motivated FACS operator Although the primary duties are the daily operation of one of our cell sorters (BD-FACSAria and BDInflux), you will also be involved in the other operations of a busy research core facility, including quality control as well as teaching and training (supervising of users). Individual must be self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team (consisting of already three operators). Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to establish good relationships with researchers and attention to detail to ensure accurate work and record keeping, as well as a flexible schedule are also very desirable. The communication language is English.
