German Society for Cytometry
We are an interdisciplinary association of scientists, professionals, and technicians dedicated to the development, advancement, and application of cytometry in Germany. As a national society, we act locally but think and connect globally.

It is our pleasure to invite you to the annual meeting of the German Society for Cytometry (DGfZ) 2026, which will take place from September 22 to September 25, 2026, at the Center for Regenerative Therapies (CRTD) in Dresden.
With this years’ conference theme “Many Cytometry Technologies – One Society”, the meeting will focus on further fostering interaction within the cytometry community, bridging different cytometry technologies, and connecting technological developments with a wide range of applications.
As in previous years, the first day of the conference will be dedicated to tutorials, hands-on workshops offered by both industry and academia. We warmly invite you to propose tutorial topics and actively contribute to shaping this part of the program. We also specifically welcome suggestions for scientific topics and sessions throughout the conference for the future.
Building on the highly positive atmosphere of the DGfZ annual meeting 2025 in Dresden, we aim to maintain its vibrant and inclusive spirit. In particular, we encourage early-career researchers to present their work through contributed talks and posters, which played a central role in the success of the previous meeting. As every year, we will be awarding a poster prize, the Klaus Goerrtler prize, and travel grants. Please visit our society’s website at dgfz.org for further information.
We look forward to welcoming you to Dresden in September 2026
