Travel grants

Promotion of young scientists

Travel grants for early-career researchers are an important part of our scientific community. They enable young talents to attend conferences and training events, promote the exchange of ideas and the building of networks, and thus contribute to the further development of our field. These grants not only strengthen our community but also the future potential of cytometry.

The DGfZ has developed two different travel grants. The Scholar Grant is intended to support participation in the DGfZ Annual Conference. The Mobility Grant also supports further activities to benefit the community.

Membership of the DGfZ is a requirement for receiving these grants.

Applicants

Master, PhD, and MD students as well as junior postdocs (within 2 years of active research after PhD) can apply. Applicants must be DGfZ members or must have applied for membership, and must provide evidence of an active role or participation in the conference or event.
