The German Society for Cytometry (DGfZ e.V.) supports the active participation of young scientists in scientific meetings in the field of cytometry with individual funding to cover parts of the travel expenses, in the amount of commonly 200 EUR for national and 400 EUR for international meetings. The Society is not obliged to give reasons for awarding or not awarding a travel support. The Society also reserves the right to change the amount of the award.

Applicants

Master, PhD, and MD students as well as junior postdocs can apply for the DGfZ Travel Award.

Submission and nomination

Cover letter, CV, the applicants` abstract, and the meeting program shall be submitted by email in a single PDF file to the acting president with the subject line „DGfZ travel support“. Applications will be reviewed by the council of the DGfZ e.V. Eligible candidates will be nominated on a first come – first serve principle and will be informed within commonly 4 weeks after submission.

Financing

Funding will be provided electronically as reimbursement after the conference upon submission of the original receipts to the treasurer of the DGfZ e.V.:
